RECOMPOSITE is a Danish company dedicated to building a true circular economy. Using an advanced mechanical recycling process, we recover pure, high-quality fibers from discarded wind turbine blades – without the use of chemicals or heat.

RECOMPOSITE fibers can be used in concrete reinforcement, insulation and 3D printing. We have developed facade panels, roof panels and gutter systems. And more developments are on the way! Our unique separation system is what unlocks the true value in our process.


It enables us to create a precise, partner-specific fiber compositionfor the next step in the value chain.


For every company and every product, we can easily tailor the exact blend needed for their production. We adjust fiber size, customize the product-specific mix, and deliver a material that fits seamlessly into existing manufacturing setups.


This means our fibers are fully recyclable, simple to integrate, and come with a significantly lower carbon footprintthan virgin fibers.

FULL-SPECTRUM COMPOSITE RECYCLING

Thanks to our unique separation system, we can receive all types of composite waste and offcutsfor recycling. After shredding, the materials are separated into clean, individual components:


  • Fiberglass including resin

  • Balsa wood

  • Metals


This creates high-quality, uniform fractions ready for reuse in new products.

RECOMPOSITE

Standard production unit 

Our concept is modular and scalable.

A standard production consists of 2 shredding lines and a separation line. This with a total capacity of 9,000 tons per year.


The production is modular and set on screw foundations, which means low establishment costs and the factory can be dismantled and moved to another location in 8-12 weeks.


The production can be scaled up with one or more lines as needed and also scaled down again if the market should change or move.


Our process is patent pending and protected.


From a full package and approvals, we can establish a fully active production unit in just 20 weeks

RECOMPOSITE IN EUROPE

After identifying upcoming wind turbines for dismantling and anticipated composite waste, a plan has been made for roll-out in Europe.


By the end of 2029, RECOMPOSITE will have at least 8 plants for shredding with a total capacity of 80.000 tons.


This in a market where we are looking at quantities in Europe alone of 40 million tons


The aim is a total of 18 plants in Europe, which will give a standard shredding- capacity of 200.000 tons composite.
